The House of mafi, at home on the edge of the densely wooded Kobernaußen Forest region 35km outside Salzburg, Austria, has devoted itself to high quality wood processing. Selected from sustainable forests all over Europe, mafi timber floors are the most luxurious available. mafi produces over 400,000 m2 of wide plank floors every year, each one being manufactured according to our clients specifications. mafi Australia began trading in April 2008 and has developed a solid foundation in the design and architecture industry in its first 12 months. The Australian arm is operated by Michael Milling, who has been in the hard surface coverings business for 12 years. Michael says “Because mafi can be used in areas where timber flooring traditionally cannot be used, we give the client another option they didn’t have before - which is very satisfying". |
