mafi floors are provided finished with either a sanded, brushed or hand sculptured surface. The surface is treated solely with oil, consists of absolutely pure, renewable raw materials and is
bio-degradable. We intentionally disassociate ourselves from lacquer and wood surface coatings so that every floor remains breathable, can regulate a room’s moisture, and purify the air.
How our wood planks are manufactured, combined with our natural oil surface finish and oil soap maintenance system, distinguish mafi flooring from all others and are 100% toxic free.
mafi timber planks come in widths from 155 - 300mm and up to 5m lengths. In the mafi 3-layer construction, the backing and top layer consist of the same type of wood. The top and bottom layers are approximately 4 - 5mm thick and the middle layer, made from conifer wood, is glued diagonally guaranteeing excellent shape retention. The extensive designer collection ranges from classic dark toned woods, through to contemporary blondes. The planks have tongue and groove on all four sides for seamless installation.
mafi uses only formaldehyde-free PVAC glue. This is produced from water, carbon, lime and acetic acid – without solvents that can cause allergies. There is no known risk to health from PVAC glue.
mafi does not use any substances containing formaldehyde. That is why our floor can be classified as E1 (according to ÖNORM EN 14342).
3-layer floors - nature you can feel.
