We’re taking you poolside to one of the most luxurious resorts in Australia, the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast. You can expect nothing less than relaxation at it’s finest here. Superbly positioned on one of Australia’s most talked about beaches, you can step off the sand and into the Sheraton Pearls Bar where a beautiful view and a cocktail awaits you.
Just picture it… As your sip on your cocktail you’re overcome by a sweet woody scent and deep rich coffee bean colour. That’s no Espresso Martini though – it’s the all natural mafi wood floor you’re standing on.
Designed by DBI Design as part of a $26 million refurbishment, mafi flooring was chosen in Oak Vulcano Brushed White Oil, a lovely rich and dark natural timber floor that characterizes the elegant venue.
The deep brown colour of the timber is a result of the mafi Vulcano Treatment, a unique process that uses only heat wind and water to darken the wood all the way through the board. The brushed and oiled surface gives it a texture that feels good and looks perfectly natural. A delicious and decadent chocolaty floor.
mafi Oak Vulcano Brushed White Oil is commercially graded and perfectly suited to high traffic areas. The all natural oil finish protects and strengthens the timber and results in a strong, hardwearing and stretch resistant surface. A huge benefit of mafi is the ease of care and maintenance; all that’s required is mafi all natural oil soap, a bucket of warm water and a cotton mop. This process will flush the woods pores and re-oil the timber with every wash.
